It would seem that I, as a future stepmom, dont really know anything about children because I've never given birth to children- and its starting to annoy the shit out of me. I mean- I do the same things that any other mother out there would do for their kids- except these children arent biologically mine: I cook, I clean, I discipline, I make sure that they get their homework done, and that its done right. I play with them, I take them places, I even make efforts to come up with activities that we would all enjoy doing together such as crafts, cooking projects, etc.
So what gives?!
Do I not deserve some respect?! Or some kudos?!
Just because I physically did not give birth to these children, doesnt make me any less maternal. And just because I've never physically given birth to any children doesnt mean that I dont understand what its like to be a mother, nor what these kids think, try to pull, scheme, or plan.
Kiss my ass, Ursula! I do more for your children than you have in their entire lifetime.
